This Thursday’s Democratic Presidential debate was a serious and substantive debate worthy of the American people. At every debate both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have discussed their ideas for leveling the playing field to give all Americans a fair shot, and even when they disagreed, it was about how to best serve the American people.

The New Hampshire primary was a disaster for the Republican Party. For years, the Republican Party has failed to stand up to the most extreme voices within their party and it looks like it’s time for the GOP establishment to pick their poison and make a choice between Trump and Cruz. Marco Rubio’s campaign is panicking following Rubio’s short-circuiting during the Republican debate and a fifth-place finish in New Hampshire following spending $13 more on TV than Cruz and Trump combined. Rubio said this loss was on him – and he’s right. Take a look at what our Factivists have to say about the panic Rubio’s campaign is experiencing following the New Hampshire primary.
Former President George W. Bush will reemerge this weekend to hit the campaign trail for his brother. Also, following Carly Fiorina and Governor Chris Christie’s announcements they are suspending their 2016 presidential bids, DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz released a statement saying “Carly Fiorina and Governor Chris Christie may be dropping out of the presidential race, but their overheated rhetoric and support for failed economic policies live on in the Republican Party’s divisive and out-of-touch primary.” Read the Chair’s full statement here.
Finally, be sure to watch a recent video our Communications put together on how Donald Trump is the GOPfather.
Have a safe and happy weekend.
