As we discovered in November 2020, our votes really do count! And count, and count. But when one election ends, another begins. In 2021, there will be a nonpartisan primary on February 16th and a nonpartisan general election on April 6th.
The only statewide race this year is for State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Candidates needed to collect 2,000 nomination signatures in order to qualify for the primary ballot. Several candidates have notified the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County that they are running. You can read more about the candidates at their websites below.
