ESEA Reauthorization Breezes Through House

We are extremely pleased to announce that the U.S. House of Representatives just passed a bipartisan, bicameral bill by a vote of 359-64 with 11 U.S Representatives not voting to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, known as the Every Student Succeeds Act (S.1177).

This bill paves the way to a modernized education law that affirms the importance of local governance, protects federal investments for Title I for disadvantaged students, and prevents the diversion of public tax dollars for private use.
